Dine and Democracy
All S1 students participated in a Dine ‘n’ Democracy session yesterday morning. This provided them with a forum within which they could express their opinions on, and ideas about, the recent Secondary Health Week. In response to several prompts, they are asked to consider the structure of the week, the benefits of each activity, as well as being asked to discuss which activities they enjoyed, and other activities they would have liked to do. They were provided with breakfast pastries, fruit and fruit juice to further fuel the conversation. Students produced thought-provoking responses, which will be examined by their pupil council representatives, with a view to continuing to improve the opportunities we offer young people during Secondary Health Week.
