Burns Assembly
Staff and pupils thoroughly enjoyed listening to all the Rabbie Burns poems that pupils had learnt for their assembly on Friday 31st January 2020. Individual heats had been taking place in classrooms with the finalists performing on stage today. They all recited their pieces excellently. Well done to all pupils involved and thank you to Secondary English teacher Miss McNaughton for presenting the prizes and for being a judge alongside Mrs Macfarlane and Mrs Anderson.
Knex Competition
Mr Williamson held a Primary Knex Competition for the Moffat and Beattock cluster. Congratulations to the winning team who were Erin and Chloe from Beattock Primary School.
Rotary Competition
Congratulations to P7 pupils Wilfie Porteous, Ronnie Welch, Scott McCrossan, and Daniel Palmer for winning their Rotary Quiz on Thursday 27th February.
The boys are now through to the next round.

Sporty Fundraising
On Tuesday 10th March, Primary pupils took part in a dance-a-thon and a sponsored walk to raise funds for Health Days and Sport Relief.
