Michael Kerins Storyteller Visit 2014

On Friday 26th of September Michael Kerins the award winning storyteller came to visit us at Moffat Academy. Michael, from Glasgow, has been regaling his own stories for many years and he will soon be publishing his first book. Michael is also taking part in the Lermentov 200 events this month in connection with Moffat Book Events. His stories are largely based around the character 'Wee Tom'.  He entertained the Primary in Assembly with the help of young volunteer Lochlan Graham and he then told funny and engaging stories to class groups throughout the day. Michael also had time to visit a Secondary Class and discuss French and Russian language which is also one of his many talents. Michael has left some  'Hats for Sale' CDs (one of his popular stories) in the school should anyone like to purchase one for only £6. Thank you to Michael for visiting us and thank you to Katherine Clemmens, Moffat Book Events for organising the visit.
