As part of their transition, Moffat and Beattock P7 pupils took part in a CSI challenge at Moffat Academy on Friday 10th November. Pupils wore 'forensic scientist' type protective clothing over their regular clothes to prevent contamination. They split into groups and moved between four laboratories where there was a cordoned off crime scene with a 'murdered body' (our science skeleton George), a forensic testing area, witness interviews and fingerprinting. After all the tests and investigations were complete, pupils concluded that our Depute Head Mrs Alison Chambers was the murderer! Well done P7! Thank you to Mrs Chambers, PC John Cowan for your assistance and Biology teacher Mrs Corner for arranging the event.
