Welcome P7!!

My name is Mrs Candlish and I am the Depute Head Teacher of Pupil Support at Moffat Academy. I am delighted to be able to meet you all, even though it is over online platforms at the moment. I hope you are all well and are looking forward to a return to school in the near future. We have missed having you all in our buildings!

As part of your transition to Secondary school we have created a P7 group on Teams so we can drop in some useful videos and resources as well as introduce you to different aspects of our school. Keep an eye on the Team over the next few weeks as we drop them in and they will also be added to this section of the school website. I am sure you have lots of questions, and should anyone wish to speak with me then do not hesitate to contact me. My email address is or you can message on teams in the questions channel and someone will get back yo you. Going forward we hope to have some interactive things for you to do and there will be some tasks linked with moving up to Secondary from various subjects. Do not worry though as these can be completed at an appropriate time that suits you as I know you will all be working away at different times in your classes when you return to school. Hopefully as things progress towards summer I will be able to meet you all in person, but for the time being we have our Teams platform. I have attached a video from our Head Teacher Mrs Woods to welcome you all, you will find it below. Take care everyone and we will speak soon. There are exciting times ahead for us all.
