Kid's Day Out

On Wednesday 8th June 2016, a group of pupils and staff from Moffat Academy (Primary)attended the Kids Out day at Barony College, Parkgate. Kids Out day, organised and funded by Lockerbie Rotary Club, is a fun-filled day organised for children with additional support needs. This year's events included a bouncy castle, tractor and trailer rides, cake decorating, carriage rides, badminton, fun stalls and much more. Firm favourites among the pupils were the carriage rides, space hoppers, badminton and fire engine visits (and dressing up).

All of the children (and adults) enjoyed this day of fun in the sun!! A special mention and big thanks to Mrs Warburton, one of Moffat Academy's auxiliaries who has been a regular helper at Kids Out day, as she retires at the summer. All of the group were sad it was her last time on the trip, but were delighted to be able to add their name (and a fond farewell note) to her Kids Out day t-shirt.

Many thanks also to Lockerbie Rotary Club.
