Primary 4 - Robert Burns Assembly

On Friday 20th January it was Primary 4’s assembly. It was all about Robert Burns. Emily Hume was Robert, six tourists got into the time machine and travelled from July 2017 to 1759 and many dates in-between. They all had a Burns supper and learnt two poems to sing. They learnt what was written on the window by Robert himself and sang Auld Lang Syne and Donald Where’s Yer Troosers which was funny because in the last verse the sausage ran after them. Harry was the host, Jameson and Rihanna were the tour guides.

On the 20th January P4 put on a show for the rest of the primary and the grown-ups that had given up their time to watch their child perform, and what a performance it was! P4 thought the adults agreed that it was spectacular.  There were lots of roles in the assembly. The effort was endless. Stupendous was the word for this master-piece.
