Great success came for Colby Jack who won every match throughout the day to win gold. Congratulations to all of the pupils from Moffat who represented their school in an excellent manner. Tweety Pi Learning Event
Moffat Academy welcomed primary and secondary teachers from across the region (including a keen parent!) to the school to participate in a Tweety Pi event with the help of Mr Williamson's S1 Digital Leader Group as well as pupils from Moffat Primary. The event was delivered by the SCDI Young Engineers and Science Club and the aim was to introduce teachers to the world of Raspberry Pi's which are tiny, programmable computers. Teachers participating in the event were able to brush up on their digital literacy with the help of a pupil buddy from the school who helped them through each step. Pupils from the school will continue with the project which will see them building and programming a Raspberry Pi computer to take pictures of wildlife around the school!
